The young singers of VOCES8 Scholars will meet with the audience and media to talk about their educational and artistic journey under the auspices of the renowned British ensemble. They will share more about their mission to promote vocal art and about their festival program.

The renowned Casals String Quartet will reveal to the audience their philosophy of chamber music-making and their long artistic journey together. The meeting will offer a more personal insight into the quartet’s professional approach.

Maestro Balev will share insights about the selection of the works, his collaboration with Varna Opera—of which he is a frequent guest—and his future plans. There will also be an opportunity to hear comments on the upcoming performance from both concertmasters, Marian Kraev and Krasimir Shterev.

Please join the press conference featuring the participants in the intriguing jazz-classical project “Music for a While, or How Much Jazz Is There in Baroque?”: the Pilekadone Quintet, the Konstantin Kostov Trio featuring Hristo Yotsov, Dimitar Karamfilov, and Konstantin Kostov, as well as opera singer Rumyana Kostova.

Signum Quartet will speak about their chamber collaboration and artistic explorations within their festival program. 

The renowned horn player and conductor of the concert within the festival, Radek Baborák, together with the young and talented Viktor Teodosiev, will speak about their work together, the creative challenges of preparing for a festival performance, and their collaboration with the Sofia Soloists ensemble.

The two percussionists, Alexej Gerassimez and Emil Kuyumcuian, will meet with the audience and media to discuss their artistic pursuits, the composition of contemporary percussion works, and their creative collaboration.
